No cost to get in and accepts donations to stay operating. Some interesting things to look at but not worthy enough to make our "must see" list
A lot of the history ofGibson's and the Sunshine coast are at this museum. The people who work there are super friendly. It's only by donation, but I suggests to give at least 5$. They have a lot of materials to see. Really nice activity to do with your friends and your family.
We just visited museum two days ago and spend there much longer than we expected. It's a smaller and cozy museum with sooo much to see and learn. We loved the exhibitions so much, and found them not only interesting but some of them truly inspiring. If you're on Sunshine Coast, we recommend you to spare some time to visit this gem. You won't regret :) Thank you Matthew for the warmest welcome. Martina & Lex
Lovely museum. Small, but full of interesting exhibits. Even some hands on items for kids to touch. Entry by donation, so it won't break the bank. And has an elevator for those with mobility issues and strollers
Perfect little museum for this town. Admission is by donation and the staff is very friendly. I enjoyed looking at all the exhibits and reading about the history. There is also a corner dedicated to the Beachcombers!
