Racist owner. Upon entering the deck to board the kayak, the male owner came in to help his staff member set up the kayak. I greeted him with a smile and a handshake. The first thing he told me was: "You can't kayak with a beard. You have to shave it." I asked him what my beard has to do with kayaking. He responded by saying he was just joking. Couldn't believe it. The safety floatation device was also missing on one of the kayaks.However, the ladies booking our appointment and setting up the kayak were pleasant to deal with.In response to the owners reply: I dont understand how my beard is a safety issue. Furthemore, the comment made about my beard was not in the context of safety instructions. The safety instructions were thoroughly explained - I have no complaints about them. The comment made regarding my beard, however, was inappropriate, and made everyone in my party feel uncomfortable; it tainted the experience. Unfortunately, it was too late to get a refund. Perhaps, in the future, you may consider learning from your reviews rather than reporting them as wrong and unacceptable. Customer service does matter.

High-quality fibreglass kayaks that are well maintained and very clean. The first thing they did when we brought the kayaks back was clean them and rinse them out.Easy rental without much fuss or paperwork. I would rent from them again. Heads up, make sure you ask for a spray skirt as a bit of wind can make it very cold out there.
We chartered the boat take us to scuba dive the HMCS Annapolis on Gambier Island. It was very nice to have the ability to do this from the sunshine coast rather than Vancouver. The boat was good for our group of 4 divers to accomplish this, but might be a bit cramped with more divers or tech gear. The heated cabin and hot water shower on board were a true luxury though. The captain was very knowledgeable and safety oriented.
The best kayaking experience on the Sunshine Coast. Staff were extremely helpful and the kayaks all clean, comfortable and new. Definitely recommend to everyone.
