Cutest decor, beautiful patio, my aunt and uncle know the owner from another restaurant on commercial drive. Food was amazing. I had the "wet" burrito which I would recommend ( get past the name I promise it's worth it) it's baked with salsa on top! Our initial and over service was friendly. My only complain would have been my food was made with the wrong salsa on top and the waitress had forget about our second drink order. When we asked about it after about 15 minutes after we ordered they magically appeared. Would 10/10 recommend!
Here for the second time in two days. The servers have been efficient and very friendly. Best of all the food is definitely the best Mexican food we have ever had. There are also a large variety of dishes to choose from. The tortilla soup is an absolute explosion of flavors. I could not recommend this little gem more.
Beautiful dinner experience with my sister and three children. Excellent food! Highly recommend the Fish Taco, as it was one of the best I ever had. Excellent service and great at home atmosphere! A must stop next time we come back. Highly recommend.
We needed to catch a ferry so we stopped in to make a pick-up order.We were met by a women who seemingly didnt want to help us. She was reluctant to take our order since it was busy, worried about the lead time (the food took way less time than she anticipated), hummed and haa-ed about taking our phone number down to call us when it was ready (Ill call you guys if Im not busy.) and asked us to step aside so she could first seat people (who arrived after us) before taking our order (we were ready to order). Its not the type of attitude someone should have in the restaurant business. The food was great though. The empanadas were amazing the pastry was super crispy and light. My boyfriend enjoyed his wet burrito (although, it could have been more wet/saucy) and I enjoyed my burrito bowl.Despite the yummy food, the poor service we received left a bad taste in our mouths. Were willing to give it another chance the next time were in town and opt to dine in to see if theres better service.
This wonderful Mexican restaurant has maybe the best view of the harbour. Reservations can be made for sitting inside, but the prime balcony seats are first come first served,... You'll want to come down early to scoop them up, or be willing to wait a bit. The entire staff is quite lovely, taking time to get everything right. The menu is well thought out, and the food is excellent. Be aware, you might just want to try everything on the menu!
